Zhou Bin, Associate Professor, psychologist, Master of Education (Tongji University), is the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the College of Arts & Media and was a visiting scholar at the University of Alberta. With extensive experience in the research of higher education and adolescent growth and education, she is also a great counselor good at helping students with higher education management, Party building, family and intimate relations, youth growth, and other areas as well.
Zhou has nearly three decades of experience in education. She has worked in various departments in Tongji, including the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee, the Graduate Department, the Innovation Fund Management Office of the Graduate School, the Graduate Work Department, and the School of Economics and Management. Her research interests include Party building, education management, teaching effectiveness, teaching assessment, educational psychology. She has published more than 20 papers on leading national journals, including the Journal of Tongji University, Academic Degrees & Graduate Education, Ideological & Theoretical Education, and Open Education Research. In addition, she has received many awards for her accomplishment, including the Second Prize of National Excellent Papers on Ideological and Political Work in Tertiary Education 2019, a third prize from the Second Shanghai College Counselor’s Forum, and Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award (Third Prize) in 2010. With her License for Professional Psychological Counselor (License No. 07060301016986, obtained in 2007) and Shanghai School Psychological Counseling Certificate, she provides psychological counseling services for those in need, subject to psychology supervision. Currently, she is a member of four professional organizations: Chinese Psychological Society (Member No: S2731020884M), Shanghai Psychological Counseling Association of Higher Learning, Chinese Health Emergency Response Association, and the Health Emergency Response Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Society.
