Faculty & Staff

The College has 87 faculty members composed of foresighted academic leaders and ambitious young scholars, including 14 professors, 18 associate professors (1 full-time foreign professor/associate professor) and 38 lecturers/assistant professors. The College also employs six high-level international experts to coach for a long time, which enhances the internationalization of our talent training.

The Department of Communication and the main office functions of the College are located in the Weixin Building of Jiading Campus, with a total construction area of over 13,000 square meters. It has a first-class teaching and research platform with investment of over RMB 60 million, including public teaching platforms such as library art branch, new media art gallery, studio, virtual studio, automotive photography studio, movie hall, animation lab, nonlinear editing lab, digital animation lab, digital audio workstation, electronic media lab, art teaching center, graphic imaging lab and physical media lab, and dedicated teaching and research platforms such as computer animation and visual effects lab, interactive media lab, digital audio-visual lab, user research lab and non-planar imaging lab.
